Fitting a quaife diff to a 182

emu

Car  Renault Sport Megane R26
I do a bit of club competition , mainly hillclimb, plus some circuit sprints, and need better traction
I'm looking at around a thousand pounds delivered (unless anyone knows an alternative), plus fitting , so it's expensive
Re fitting,..........I've had conflicting advice that the motor does/does not need to be removed for the quaife fitment, which can vary the all up price considerably

I'd very much appreciate any advice

Thanks , pete

they're ok, wouldn't be my choice though

you can get the box out in 2hours if you know what you're doing (well i can :rasp: )

drop the subframe and pull the box out from below and leave the engine in the car

Fred, what would be your choice?
I need all the help I can get, there's not as much info avail here in oz

thanks pete

i'd go for the concept diff from france, bit cheaper than the quaife, and about 15years more reliability tested

or maybe the popular (on here) avanti
