Fitting a renault 5 gt turbo enigne in a clio

Now im thinking about fitting a r5 gtt engine in my mk1 clio, now, does anyone have any ideas how hard it is, also any prices in doing the work?

Any tips or hints are welcome

izard, it's quite a common conversion although not as common as the 1.8 16v lump. not too difficult iirc

my advice would be dont bother, i got mine done and everything was great until i had a crash and my insurance tried to do me, buy a valver or something instead

Don't know if they are still around but Torsion Tuning were the original pioneers of this conversion.

Join the RTOC. You'll get every bit of info about you need there as many people on there have the conversion.

Torsion are still around, but I believe that they go under another name now, as some one mentioned a renault specialist in Kelvedon on the here the other day. I think they were called renault tec or something like that.
