Fitting Aerocatches with........

a drill and a hacksaw. Can it be done neatly? I dont have a electric jigsaw and have just had a thought i may be able to do it with my cra**y hacksaw and drill.

What tools have you guys used?

I have the Aerocatches where you only need to cut a thin sliver out of the bonnet, not the ones where they sit fully fulsh.

Not sure how much those type need to cut out, what about getting a hole saw drill bit to make life a bit easier dude?

If i didnt have access to a decent saw, i would mark out the aero catch (slightly smaller) and drill mutiple holes so it perfirates (spelling) the bonnet with the shape of the catch and trim that out then fit

bit bodge but sounds like the route its going lol sorry just my view :rasp:

Hire a jigsaw for a weekend/ borrow someones. Cant cost much dude.

Arrrr thanks for the link VeinAST.

Its quite helpfull. I have quite a lot of drilling tool and cuttung tools at my Home but i'm at uni and could only bring the essentials.

I may just have to wait untill i get home to fit mine.
