fitting alpine 9855r mrk2 phase1

hi i just bought this

is this player easy enough to fit to a mrk2 phase 1 .is it straight forward like sony which i used to have??in which case i just plug the aerial and socket box in or will i need an adapter?

should just plug straight in as it is a 4x50 "watts" model

hi, i have pluged it in but i cant get it to power on i have plugged in the red to each other and the yellow leads to each other and i have pluged in the two boxes with my boxes but there is no power with it i need urgent help what i have done wrong thanks!

have you get a multimeter???

if so you need to check to make sure you have power to the hu

something to use to check for voltage looks like this

have you tried to swap the red and yellow plug around on the hu wiring

You do know the hu only works with the ignition in the accessory position ?
Well at least it does with my mk2 ph2.
