Fitting an aftermarket steering wheel??

320mm is the best size, easy enough to fit.

Disconnect the airbag and leave it about 20minutes then flat blade screwdriver to ease the clips off the metal lugs on the back of the airbag/wheel. Then pull the airbag towards you, unclip the connectors and remove the wheel using a large torx socket/ratchet(i forget the size) The safest way is to loosen the bolt but not remove it, at least then when you give the wheel a tug to free it you wont hit yourself in the face with the steering wheel. Then it's just a case of fitting the boss reconnecting all the wiring and fitting the wheel to the boss.

make sure you center the wheel before removing it... so that the new one is put on in line with the wheels.

Do it Dan, drove Loonys car and it made my 182 wheel feel even more boat like than normal for the trip home.

Not an issue - the center is marked by a ridge so you acnnot missalign it. PITA when tracking though.

Danny - look through my blog I put a howto and pics in there. [think its under September/or October.

any reason why my traction control is now constantly off, after fitting a MOMO wheels and some Cobra Misano recliners?

Cant see why it would be, mine can still be switched on and off, all i've lost is cruise control but that stands to reason as the controls are on the OE wheel.

  No more clio's for me!
