Fitting an aftermarket steering wheel

Hello all,

I'm looking at fitting an aftermarket steering wheel to the 172.

I know I need a steering boss and obviously the steering wheel itself.




Quick question though, do I require anything else? How will the horn work with an aftermarket steering wheel? More than likely looking at a OMP 'Targa'.

You need a Ph1 stalk with the horn on the end, easy and cheap thing to buy, a resistor @3OHM for the Airbag light to stay off.

If you get a wheel with a hole in the middle then get a push horn for it, that's what I did, no messing round with stalks etc..
