fitting bucket seat in Cup

Anyone hand any trouble fitting buckets into a 172 cup iv got the COBRA SUZUKAs the WIDER GT ones

iv got the side mount subframes will they fit straight onto the clio subframes?

and any tips or help would be nice thank u.

nope, you need the additional sub frames from cobra, the side mounts bolt to these, which then bolt to the floor using the existing holes

theyre about £100

oh yeah, loose some weight fatty!!!! (joking)

if you have the GT width - you will need a subframe with the slider - no fixed position one.

so i need the tailor made subrame then but with the tailor made subframe do i need the side mount subframes aswell?

also how much do the standard seats=kgs???

standard seats = 22kg (approx)

suzukas are anywhere from 5-10kg dependant on spec



the GT width need side mounts + runners + subframes (i think)

ok thanks well if there not adjustable how do they go forward and back? sorry for all the stupid questions! it was much easyer with the escort rs! nice seats fred..

the standard width arent adjustable, because you cant use sliders/runners on them, you have to adjust the seating position by unbolting the seat and moving it, then bolt it back down

so mine are fixed in position, which is fine, as only i drive it

the GT width you CAN use sliders/runners, so are adjustable in the normal way

ok thats good then. but more £££! well il will give cobra a ring and order the other subframes! thanks alot for the help cos i wanted the seats for santa pod in 2 weeks and if i didnt ask i would have had to wait even longer! lol
