Fitting Induction Kit To A 95 1.4 Rt??

I think i remember seeing on here somewhere about using a part off a laguna to fit an induction kit.
Does anyone know what bits are needed and off what model/year?
Would buy a proper kit but have a few cone filters sitting about,think it would look abit nicer to.

hiya mate.

yeh it can be done! i did the very same thing to my old 1.4rt.

the piece u require will be off a laguna probly the same year as your clio and the same engine size obviously. it bolts on top of the throttle body in place of the airbox then added a cone filter in the end. i extended it so it sat in the gap between the rad and the headlight and cut that bit of plastic out that is there so there was plenty of cold air cumin into it. it did make a diference! sounded good 2 i have a pic of it somewhere so i bang it on wen i can!

Right mate......
pics are here! the black plastic bit that comes off the throttle body is from a laguna, and i saw it pointless slapping a filter on the end of that. So i extended it with some aluminum ducting secured with some trusty jubilee clips!!
Then positioned in that small gap next to the rad! make sure u trim that plastic flap away or no air will get to it. one or two cable ties later and eh voila!
i heard about this from a mate and got my self down the scrappy. im sure it was a laguna of similar age as its the same engine. u will no when u see it anyway!
did make a diference pik up was better much smoother response aswel!
ur very unfortunate as ive just sold the hole kit in the picture!

Found a laguna at the breakers today and its got the bit i need.Take it it holds on well enough with 2 bolts as thats how yours was fitted?
Be straight back down there tomorrow to swipe it

well its supposed to have 3 bolts but i only managed to get hold of 2 lol as the laguna a took it off only had 2. meant to go down b&q or sumfin to get one but neva got round to it!
