Fitting mk3 steering onto mk2

  Discounted 1*2 parts
I know plenty of people have fitted the mk3 steering wheel onto the mk2's but just want to know whether it is a straight forward swap or whether the wiring need to be altered for the airbag and horn?

Yeh, it doesn't feel right at first, pas doesn't auto return but after some miles it loosens up.

How come it dont auto return?

No idea, its annoying though. But it does loosen up and start working properly after a while.

I never had it on long enough for it to loosen up, but a certain highly regarded specialist on here said they are all stiff to start with but soon loosen up, and the guy who has mine confirmed this.

i think i read somewher on here that it catches slightly on the plastics so that might be why...

Couldn't confidently say, something must be wearing away when it loosens up, everyone else seems happy though :)
