I picked up a pair of Cobras for just £161 on eBay, yey! But the Clio mk1 subframes are £65 each and I'm only keeping the mk1 for a year or 2 until it dies.
Could I use the 'budget universal subframes'?
How easy are they to fit? (don't mind spending a few hours but not very good at metalwork).
Most importantly, will I later be able to take them out and use them in another car or do they need permanent alterations that mean they can't be reused?
