Fitting Orbisoud exhaust

Has anyone fitted a Orbisoud exhaust or seen someone else fit one? I've heard some drilling needs to be done to fit the two plates to the floorpan. Any ideas anyone?

172 or 182 mate? I did watch my 182 Orbisoud get fitted - simple job, no drilling. The guy said it was the easiest exhaust he'd ever fitted. Lined up with the rear cut outs perfectly first time too.

It's going onto a 182. Each of the plates have a rubber type holder which is held in place by 2 bolts, this is where the hangers for the rear-box will go I suspect.

I've seen a pic of the Orbisoud fitted to the 182 on the K-tec site and it looks like the plates have four bolts which attach to the body. Are these already there from the old system? Thats why I'm worried some drilling might need to be done.

The plates provided with the Orbisoud simply replace the standard items. Simple bolt up job! You buy the last one from K-tec then?

Thanks for that mate. Should hopefully get it done on Sat morning along with my brakes. Just glad no holes will need drilling

I was tempted with the one at K-tec but couldn't justify the price. Got it sent from over the Channel

That V6 sounds f**king mental! Do they do an exhaust for the 172? I only ever read of people fitting them to 182s

yep! Cup racer exhaust is Orbsoud. Not cheap tho!

The Vee does sound sexi! Full system is about 3k tho!

It's difficult for me to tell - my car has no sound proofing in it at the back, everything is gone so it's always sounds loud as hell inside. I can't really tell how load it is from the outside, but the vids give an idea.

yeah same with me, everything out the back so noisy as hell inside. Outside is OK though. K-tec Stealth on mine.

Orbisoud is supposed to be one o the best out there though
