Is there one on your Clio rad? I've had one with that bung and one that didn't need a bung

haven't seen one did look, but only with it still on, don't want to take it out to find i have to put it back in, its been cable tied like yours for now :) my car gets more bodged by the day haha

Are you trying to say mine is bodged? Lol!

It's running not bad now still slight misfire but it's back on song :)

na nothing wrong with some duck tape and cable tie's ;)

good good, gave mine an oil, oil filter, plug & leads change today, aswell as fitting a mocal oil cooler (had it ages just not had time to fit) and seems to be running fine now, much better than rolling road meet, no more nasty blue smoke :) old oil was totally black, think it was well over due a change.

just need to get this bung for my rad now and i can get that on.

I retract my last post, firing on 3 now!

Think possibly a loom fault by the MAP sensor

Lol didn't even realise the date ;) I did a polo rad search and instantly assumed it was upto date!

I agree Danny, sorted :)

For anyone that would want to know in a future search, i went to GSF, was only about £1.24 or something, took a while before the woman understood what i was after though!

Yeah they all come without the bung - on chrispy's thread he mentioned he had to ring up for one

I went to GSF and asked for a radiator temperature sensor blank - they found for for a couple of quid :)

Glad you got it sorted

Dumb question and no time to research - why the change in radiator?

For us big boy's running ITB's it's a lower rad so gives more room for a big airbox and trumpets ;)

For the record it's also a rad that only cost's £30, and provides approx same surface area as standard radiator so with a good fan makes for a good cheap track day radiator.

Sorry to dig out an old thread but I'm after a Polo Rad for my 172 Cup. Does anyone have any upto date part numbers etc?

Thanks
