fitting tachometer and volt meter

hi new to this has any one fitted a tachometer or a volt meter to a 1997 1.2 clio if so how do they connect up. cheers

Volt meter's a piece of piss, only needs switch live/ignition and ground. No idea on tacho though fella.

thanks m8 do you knw were i will get the info for the tacho a freind of minre said that it connects to the coil on his mini
