flash 8 and text help

using flash 8 which ive never used before, how do i make the text white with a blue outline?

there seems to be no outline option?

just been reading that but cant get the ink tool to work.

1. With the text selected, hit CTRL+B which should make the text into a graphic.
2. Deselect
3. Select the outline tool from the main toolbox
4. Select the outline colour and other properties
5. Click on the letters one by one

Can't you just select the outline and change its colour?

Sorry I can't be more helpful but I don't know too much about Flash 8.

Can't you just do it in Photoshop using stroke and then import it to Flash?

thats the most annoying thing there is no outline option grrr...

Try GIMP, it's free.

I would suggest asking on a Flash forum as you'd get much better advice.
