Flash Car Wash and Autodry filter

Anyone used this stuff ?

A my mate has one kit spare he's trying to fob off to me :S he says you can use it without drying car

He says its good, but i'm unsure about using Flash on my car.

Will it strip my wax/sealent protection ?

Would i be better to stick with my megs shampoo plus or what have left of my chemical guys wash/wax. :S

I got bought one... I dont use the shampoo feature. I just use the filter function to wash the soap suds off the car. Then have a cuppa, and its dry without watermarks. You can then polish, wax etc.

How much is he wanting for it?

Afaik, you can use any car shampoo in it, or as said, just use it for the filter thing to rinse.

Hes giving me it as he wants rid
Never been used but says in instructions it can block up using diff shampoo in it...

How long does it take to dry with autodry function ?

autodry function is a bit of a fad in my experience. at my last house it didnt work at all as i had 'hard' water. moved to a soft water area and even now doesnt seem to do much.

id stick with doing it the conventional way myself.

I have used this. It was ok. It never blocked up i used different shampoos. The only reason i got rid, because i left it outside and the frost made it leak lol.

just buy an inline water filter much better than one of these but a bit more expensive

Ive never used one but from what i hear they do an ok job(quick fix)

If he is giving it you free take it, will do an ok job. A proper filter such as an Aquagleam will cost around 40 quid.

if your wanting a quick everyday wash it looks fine with minimal water marks... and you can use any shampoo in it really... but they obviously want you to buy their product...... for free its useful to have around if your wanting to clean your car quick...
