A client has bought a site that they can't actually get access to. Not a major problem as they want a different URL anyway. Thing is, they want all the content and that includes the flash.

Is it possible to download them and to get them un-de-compressed from a SWF?

yes you can, you can rip out the information, however, it will not be the same as the FLA file were it was originally compiled from unfortunately, a clear example of this is that it will not keep all the different layers and it will not have the proper timeline.

Thanks mate, think that is as far as we could get with it. At least it's a simple animation.

You could get all the pics and text if required.

However the timeline and animation will not be 100%.

if u wanted to just save the flash file, if your using firefox then install the plugin in for it, called 'unplug' it will extract the file source and give you a link to download, also works with any sort of video embeded in a website

i think thats java not flash mate!

probably a script on google that you can download and use

that's Java not flash, but it can also done in flash, pre made actionscript 2.0 syntax can be acquired in order to achieve that effect.
