flash player not working?

tried youtube and other flash sites and there telling me either my java script is turned off or dont have the latest version of adobe flash player.

ive tried turning on javascript but theres no java option in internet options

ive also tried downloading it again and restarting the computer but neither have solved the problem?

any help would be excellent its driving me mad lol

Download and Rum this:

http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/uninstall_flash_player.exe

That will uninstall Flash player. Then just go to the Flash Player website and install again.
