Flashing Battery Light

I noticed recently that when i am driving (mostly when i slow down) sometimes my battery light flickers on and off. Does anyone know why this is, or have any idea about it/how to fix it?

Quite possibly ur altinator saying bye bye! thats what happened when my battery light started flashing.
