flat-ish patches on sportlines

I have a set of sportlines that the paint have chipped on quite badly where they touch the dampers and where the coils touch on compression. They also have slightly worn flat patches where the springs touch on compression, are they still good enough to use or are they past it? Dom

  Lots of Alfas
If its just the coating thats worn and the metal is not seriously rusting they will be fine, its normal for the paint to wear off where the springs touch on compression. I would look into protecting the areas of worn paint with some sort of rust preventer.

I might get some photos up to see what people think, do they have a lifespan?
