I added my old RB up once, that was purchase cost and all mods then servicing. 4 years of ownership was £10,200 IIRC !!

What trackdays you got planned this year then Fletch ? Il be joining you regardless :)

Hopefully Cadwell, Brands Hatch, Donington and Castle Combe action days. I'll keep you posted Chris. Hopefully you'll be back in a French shed soon mate to join me out on track

How much... lol! Keep me posted on Trackdays fella and also we need to plan our trip to the ring... :D

Im going to the ring in august!!!!!
I added my paperwork up the other day fletch, silly money, real silly money. Oh well its just a hobby i keep telling myself. Will need to go out soon before i sorn mine.

That's not too bad considering you've bought a lot of expensive mods and it's been well maintained.

How much of the costs is for new rotors?

Not sure Tim probably had 4 sets @ £200 per set

In march sometime Fletch. Letting insurance run out so i get another year ncb, rather than cancel it.

A couple months yet then mate. :)

Safety Devices 6 point cage deposit now paid. So should finally have a roll cage fitted early Feb.

PMS stud kit will be ordered next, maybe the PMS exhaust system too.

Took the car over to Mike@Rentech for a couple of bits and pieces that needed doing, including fixing the seized 4 pot. I now have a new set of DS3000 pads and fully working brakes again. Hopefully be a dry Sat/ Sun so I can go for a nice long drive on some of my favourite B roads.

I am not that happy with my driving postion ATM. I am sat very low and on the custom X low subframe so could do with the steering wheel out a bit further, and a touch lower ( my legs are in the perfect postion ) So thinking of ordering a lifeline quick release wheel boss as this brings the wheel out 50mm.

http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/performance/bosses-fitting-kits/lifeline-quick-release-bolt-on

And a new set of 4 point harnesses either Schroth or Sabelt, as my Luke ones are looking tired/ grubby.

So the weather was nice on Sunday, so I took the old girl out for a nice long drive on some good local B roads. Nice and sunny, but lots of floods horse riders etc, and the Parada spec 2's aren't great when it's cold/ wet.

The aftermath..

And my PMS stud kit arrived yesterday..

The wheel is no the perfect distance away now it's just a bit high. Next job on the list is to lower the steering coloumn. Has anyone local done this and fancy giving me a hand for plenty of tea coffee, bacon sandwiches?

Same boss I'm looking at, Fancy writing up a "how to" on how to lower the steering rack when your done?

If you want a hand mate you know where I am or if you want to bring the car up here then go for it :)

Ill come and watch :)
Do you now know what i mean about how easy they are to fit?
id like to fondle the boss too when we next meet up. Tis sexual.

Looking good Fletch. Need to coordinate our track day calendar :)

Yes mate. It would be great if we could all get out on track together.

You're more than welcome to pop over anytime fella.

..You were right Sam, piece of piss to fit. Really impressed with it mate TBH.

Well I didn't bother lowering the steering wheel coloumn after all, mainly because I was happier with the seat height when I had a OMP subframe fitted before ( when I borrowed one of Chris's)

The X-low subframe and Corbeau Revo would be fine for track use only, but not great for road miles, and with a trip to the Nurburgring etc coming up I ended up ordering a new OMP subframe. This time I will make it sit level mind ;)

Cheers guys :)

@Fletcher is the corbeau revo one with the wrap around head restraints? If it is you'll not be allowed on the ring mate. Just a heads up so you don't end travelling over there and being turned away.

Thanks for the heads up mate. Are full cages etc ok still?

^^ Why ever is that ?

Perfect reason to buy a pair of Pole Positions now mate :)

Knowsit ;)

Looks like I'll have to order a Recaro PP then.

Popped along to Goodwood with Chris early then home the 'scenic' route. Sheds cooling down...

Yeah full cage is fine. Make sure it's padded though. They had a hissy fit at me 2 years ago because I had none!! My reasoning of 'I've got no brains to smash out on it anyway mate' didn't go down too well.
