Wanted it to match the rest of the car,I wanted it the same colour as seats ect but it came back this colour, only takes 20 mins to fit so put it in to see what I thought,I know everyone wont like it,but it is growing on me.

Ok so everyone likes black, just had a look with the sun out and its even lighter, may even dazzle me lol,I do like the colour, maybe not ideal for the clio though. Will get one done black as well.

Mcaff it was done by SBP flocking cost for black is £60 plus post

Ah something positive,I know black looks good, but this is a bit different and I think I will leave it in for a week maybe and then make my mind up.the wheel is a oreca from ktec.

I think you lot are right about it getting dirty very quickly, will have to dye it black if it starts to look to bad.

This looks very high quality, but I would have chosen a darker colour.

Just seen the price, £60 seems very good value.

I Think Ive Just Thrown Up In My Mouth! .. Hate Flocking! .. I Thought It Was Just Vw Virgins That Rated It

Looks very well done, but not to my taste, surely having white flocked dash defeats the point in it?

  Inferno 182 & Saxo
Surely using black flock is to reduce glare. White flock is going to make it worse than a normal dash?

Looks a neat job but would suit a lighter-coloured car, the colour you went for in a a Black car is a "bit" odd if i'm honest. Also the glare issue was first thing I thought of when I seen it.

Fair play to you I say for going for it, and GOOD LUCK keeping it clean! :)

Wonder what it would cost to do the bottom half of the dash

Decided to change the colour, not black, but I think this better suits the car.

Like that much more. Good luck keeping it clean! I still can't touch mine without getting black fluff all over my hands.

I know it's same old - but it does look far better in black! Much more OEM..

Each to their own though, I think that colour would grow on me tbh

EDIT: Just seen the update, looks MUCH BETTER :D!!

Post #30 is clearly the work of a baffoon, which is why nobody bothered to answer - Why should the flocked surface of the dash have any impact on an explosive charge propelled airbag bursting out of the dash.

  C3 Picasso Beast
Don't know that's why I asked

Cheers JackJack for answering my clearly idiotic, baffoon like question!
