providing u got a alarm that can control solnoids ,think thats correct, then u can control the opening of doors , boot via the remote.

most common place for the doors is a button on under side of the wing mirrors. like on tvrs

as for the boot , u could have a push button any where u like for it

Just get a spare switch and put it in one of the blanks and wire it to that. You don't need a door popper just turn the standard solenoid that activates the lock round so it activates the catch.

ignore the neaon button, this is very long gone................

How do you get the wire from the boot to the front? I can't see a way to do it without going through the rubber wire guide thing near the hinges?

Yep thats what i want it to look like only thing is mines is a 2003 model..Would i still be able to turn the standard solenoid around and use it?

a solnoid just moves the lever that woud normally be connected to the push button,

can be used more many applications , all are custom jobs , just like having central locking fitted to cars that never came with it

Right then.

Unplug all the wires from inside the hatch. Get a spare piece of wire more than 6ft long, and tie it tightly under the plugs for the lock. This is so you can pull the wiring back through. Push all the wiring down through the hatch and pull the rubber out so u can remove it from the hatch completely. Pull the wiring through the rubber. You then need to remove the C pillar trim panel and seatbelt to I think to get access to where the wiring comes out.

Run the wiring from the switch, along the dash, then down behind the carpet in the clips where the wiring to the rear lights go. Make sure you have 8ft extra on the end to make sure its long enough. Tie the wire to the wiring you've just pulled from the hatch and tape it to stop it sliding, then drag the wiring back up the way it came, remembering to put it through the rubber.
