Focussed suspension

Well, not as focussed as I'd like, the car still needs to be compliant on the road.

What I mean by Focused is, I couldn't give rats arse about ride height or "stance", and thus coilovers may not be what I need, assuming someone like Koni sells some dampers that are valved correctly and I can find some suitable spring rates.

However, I can't seem to find Koni's for the cup? In fact, I can't seem to find much besides AST or H&R for the Cup setup?

Any advice? I have found some second hand H&Rs, but it's a lot of money for something with no warranty, so I just want to explore my options properly.

Budget is not limited, but I'd really rather not spend £1500 on ASTs. £500-700 is the sweet spot, which I think would have most people recommending B14s, but again, these don't seem to be available in Cup spacing?

Yes, mine is cup packed, although I should probably double check the hub spacing just in case, I guess.

swap your hubs over ? it isnt such a big or expensive job but opens up so many other options

I guess it's an option, but by the time I've bought hubs, bearings and fitted them, I may as well have just opted for a more expensive suspension setup available for my existing hubs.

wont cost you more than £100 to swap over tbh.. maby even less... just a though for you anyway

ahh i get you , thought it was just different bolt spacing on the hubs.. makes sense now.

which of the 172's came with equal length shafts ? as thats what i have fitted was it the cup ?
