foglights light flashing randomly

Hi guys!
another srtange problem for my little black lady..
It started some months ago.. initially only sometimes, now more often, the problem is the dash light for foglights sometimes illuminates itself softly when i start the car, then dims to black after sometimes and illuminates again when i use turn signals (left or right is indifferent) flashing at the same time of the dash green arrows! (obviously is only the led flashing, foglights remains off)
beside this all lights seems to work properly! happened to someone else?? Make me think is some earth problems.. but where to start to diagnose? any help appreciated

Sounds like a bad earth somewhere?

I thinked bout that too mate... you advice? look at the earth "map" on the service manual and check proper connections?

Driving way home I realized that i forgot an important parameter about the problem!
Usually the problem pops up when it's cold (i mean..weather temperature), today spotted 22°C and no problems!

It'll be the connectors on the rear clusters.
Take off the light clustor, disconnect and clean with WD40 or similar.
Very common problem. Have a search for other solutions.

Later when I'll go home I'll try hoping to see the problem before that to be able to understand if it's solved or not!

As has been said. I would also file the connections as its water ingress which rusts the connections. File the rust off and then clean and wd40 it and it should be fine. Its a known issue.

Hi there... tried some hours ago... pins were flawless.. perfect and silvery, anyway i've re surfaced them with fine grit sandpaper and cleaned with a spray for electric connections. also inside clusters on bulb connections but no luck! still got the problem!

sorted out.. after some more research I've found 100% of people sorting out cleaning or sanding here and there.. so I've decided for a full treatment!
sanded well the 2 rear earth points, little bended cluster pins and re-cleaned with dremel metal brush(mirror finish) , same treatment for the bulb contacts inside the clusters, and new contacts for the bulbs with soldering iron and some solder wire.
re- assembled everything and... voilà! no more foglight led flashing!! happy
