Megane 225 Turbo
Hi, this isn't about Clio's but is linked to a story about a Clio. Phil172 had a crash as I was reading down the page and you mentioned about the boot floor.
Cut a long story short my mate had quite a shunt in his Rover 214. Basically it has crumpled the boot floor in my opinion beyond repair. Only external marks are on the bumper where the bracket has come through. On closer inspection and lifting the carpet (After finally getting the boot open) the boot floor is crumpled so amazing hard it has bent and slashed the spare wheel/tyre. It really does look a mess, but the plastic panels have popped back out making it look ok from outside.
Also the rear lights dont sit right. Again I know it's not about a Clio but Phil172's question got me thinking too, should the insurance be paying this out? They've already agreed in my opinion it's a write off, as it's only a T-reg and Rover's arent particularly the most money-holding car at the moment.
Opinions on boot floors lol?
