Two words - DO IT!

I found the cheapest place to be www.kamracing.co.uk
And to lower the costs I fitted the rears myself (30 min job)
And took it to a garage to get the fronts done (£65 labour)
Worth it for peace of mind!

Ride quality? BETTER! not crashy at all, and the top mount noise has dissapeared!

It looks much better too, and the handling is much tighter without losing the 172's traits. you can fling it into bends faster and with more confidence too.

+1 fella, best mod i ever made, so much better than standard, impossibly better than g-max lol!
easy to fit rears, there's a good guide in the guides section, tbh easy to fit fronts too with some spring compressors, tho i've read a few threads saying the sport versions don't need compressors. i've not got a sport

I fecking love the Sportlines on my Mk1, handles awesome.

Will be the only thing I miss when I sell it I expect. LOL!

you pull the springs out with your hands. after taking out 2 bolts!!

Think the ratchet size is 18mm IIRC.

just had mine fitted this morning. They have given the car a better drop than i expected but more importantly the difference in handling is very noticeable. feels much sharper into the corner and i can definitley carry more speed through them. Also purchased mine from Kamracing so thanks for the quick delivery. Great mod for the 182!
