Renaultsport Clio 172 Cup
have made a stealth sub install. Whats the best way of doing it on my 172 cup? Should I make the hole for the sub above the spare wheel space? Or should i raise the floor? I would personally prefer to do it above the spare wheel space as I need as much room as I can get. Just to clarify..
Materials:
1. MDF cut out of boot floor
2. Acoustic Carpet? Or will ordinary carpet do?
3. Adhesive or pins
Method:
1. Get a plank of MDF from say B&Q
2. Cut it to size so it is an exact replica of my current boot floor
3. Measure out the sizes of my Amp and Sub, leaving extra space for the amp to fit in, but cutting a smaller sized hole for the sub so it just drops into the gap allowing it to hold itself on the MDF (if you get me)
4. Re-line the MDF with acoustic/regular carpet
5. Fit the amp and subs
Sorry if this is a bit of a vague discription. Please correct me if im wrong
Thanks
