Forgot to renew my car tax!!!

i thought it was automatically issued the day it ran out?? or is that just scare mongering tactics??

think there is a 2week-sh delay incase you are ill, or on hols etc
i realised today on the way to work lol. I dont have my V5 or my reminder with me, i will renew it tonight though so its only been 10 days
it says i need at least my v5 number or my reminder reference number. bugger

you wont be able to do it online. Ive left it 3 weeks before, you still have to pay from the start of the month, dont worry Brown isnt gonna loose out on your £15

i forgot to do mine 2 it ran out at the end of aug! relised saturday and got it done strait away! should be fine just say u was away!! £115 i didnt need goin out of my account tho

dude. they will back date the payment. so you will have to pay a certain amount for how every many weeks or months you are over due.
on a seperate note, someone i knew tried to renew their tax online and it came up saying this car does not need the tax renewing to 2060. went about 8 months without renewing it but she had to sell the car so had to renew the tax phoning and was just simply made to pay for the months that she had missed.
