I always thought the sound was one of the best features of FM2...ok some cars might not be spot on but most sound awesome....that datsun above sounds amazing hitting the limiter and the vid of the aston race car was pretty much perfect imo..especially when comparing to certain other race games lol

maybe it's just me then. I though F2 sounds were terrible. Nothing like the cars they represented. F3 sounds a little better. But a race exhaust makes little to no difference to the noise for some reason. A Lambo LP640 with a straight through exhaust should be the only thing you can hear in a race, but tyre sounds are still louder.
I'm fussy though. It's still a great game.
Get yourself a 120Gb HDD off Ebay for 39.99 mate. I ordered one (they're from China) and was sceptical but it's an official MS one :approve:
I can do everything but guarantee it's not a genuine hdd. In china they make their own (which is exactly what you can do. If you're willing to use your old 20gb hdd as a donor shell you can make a 120gb for less than £30.
Does that mean the CW DC5 will have silver wheels again? Better not do or I may refuse to play the game

I haven't got one but you can't paint wheels white. They come out silver.
+1, the sounds on FM2 were immense and they're even better on the FM3 demo... maybe he's just got the sound coming out through the TV? On a proper surround sound it's fantastic.[/QUOTE]
I haven't got Dolby digital at the moment so perhaps that makes a difference. But I used to use my 800w ac3 hifi on F2 and what I wrote above is what I thought.
Tv speakers shouldn't be an excuse. If I hook my dv camera up to my TV with some trackday or rally footage a Ferrari still sounds like a ferrari. A lambo like a lambo. Why can't game developers get it right in this day and age?
