Found myself a 19 engine!!

Hi everyone mechanic doing my car would rather do a simple like for like swap so managed to find myself a 1993 renault 19 16v engine. Been told everything is the same just got to use my inlet manifold? Is that it? Everything else ok to go straight in? Going to use my gearbox I think. Is it ok to do this? Thanks, Rob.

Have you bought the engine yet? Reason i ask is that i have a complete clio 16v engine. This would be a straight fit but the 19 you will need to change a few bits like the cam cover as this is where the mounting sits, i think there may be a couple of other bits also but can't remember!

Yeh the 19 lump is slightly different but it will fit - code is F7P 704. The clio lump is a F7P 722. Personally i would buy a complete car and use it as a donor vehicle for the conversion ( write off are MOT failure )
