Fractured Midpipe

Car  cock mobile.
I've got a fracture on my Fujitsubo, on the centre section just after the silencer so it's blowing like a biatch :(

What's the best and cheapest way to get this sorted?

I'm gonna call round see if I can find someone to weld it, but I've been told they'll want it off the car to do it.

How long would I be without my car for? How much do you think this would cost?

Can anyone recommended somewhere around the Northants area?

Cheers.

mild steel or stainless? stainless is much harder to weld so would cost a fair bit more.. wouldn't imagine it'd cost a lot tho.. under £40

Yer just been chatting to a mate, and he said stainless would be more.

And yer mine is stainless.

Do places just do it on the car then?

maybe not for stainless, steel yes.

best ake it to someone who does custom exhausts and get them to take a look at it!

lol, seriously ^ might just do that, hmm, wonder how load that would be :)

How much would a custom midpipe cost with no silencer fully fitted?

stainless will have to be off the car cos it need purgeing with argon while welding

what car is it?? if you were local to me i would have done it for free

Where are you mate? Might still be worth the trip! :o

It's on a DC5.

How much do you think it will cost then seeing as it's stainless and may well have to come off?

Cheers.

Ok, I reckon I'm gonna get a straight through centre section, and get one of you kind chaps to fix my cracked one after I have that on (just in case it gets tooo loud for my wimpy ears).
