French Car Show - Clio Sport 197

I haven't seen this posted on the site yet so I thought you might all like to know that the organisers of the French Car Show have arranged for Renault to display the new Renault Clio Sport 197. As the car's not out for a few months yet, this will be the first chance most of us will have to have a proper look at the car in the metal and decide whether or not it's worthwhile changing.

I'm still not sure if i'm going yet but i would love to see the 197 in the flesh.

I'm afraid my hopes for it are not very high after driving a 1.2 version of the new Clio as a courtesy car last week. I know the Sport model will be a much better car to drive, but I mean in terms of it's size, overall looks, interior and so on. Just wasn't impressed. The new Clio's far too big for what's supposed to be a small hatchback.

It will grown on you mate. Its like us in the Pug world boaked when the 206 came out and its the biggest French seller of all time.

A 1.2 would make any sporty car driver feel ill when you are used to the power and hard suspension.
