french crap!

right as you all no in the last few days ive had trouble with my car cutting out at 3500 rpm and 5000rpm! now its only 5000rpm but this morning discoverd another problem!

electrical fault light keeps coming on and off:S


and plus it jus wnts to stall its self when im parked up!

stalled twice this morning when i turned it on ! didnt touch anything jus revs dropped really low and stalled! same wen i was pulling out of the car park!

have to keep my foot on the accelator to build the revs up or it just dies!

BAG OF s**t TBH!!

luckily booked in at renault on monday!

buut .. anyone have any ideas what it could be? how much i m looking at from renualt ?

My money's on a coil pack problem.

Sounds more like engine management like The Boosh said, rather than a coil pack.

When the coils go in a vee, you know all about it, and it doesnt give the symptoms described by Nath.

Try to avoid driving it until it goes into the workshop fella!

Vee uses pencil coils, 1 per cylinder. The 1.2's use a coilpack and HT leads, completely different!

I have similar problems with it idling low and then cutting out.

I have replaced most sensors and TB, etc and it still does it!
