Front ABS Sensor removal

  182, SQ7, Trafic
Any tips? Unscrewed the screw and it won't budge.

Was in Renault today and asked what they reckon is best, the reply was "t**t it with a hammer until it comes out".

I Lol'd, is it correct!

I used a massive heavy duty screwdriver and a lump hammer.

I sweated lots. And I swore lots.

No!!

Just be brave. It only took about 5 minutes of frantic attacking, but it does give some strange satisfaction! lol.

I want to do this, how easy is it? Obviously not a case of just removing sensors surely?

I removed the sensors, the rings on the driveshafts and next on the list is the ABS pump.

Then the car will need complete new brakelines.

I couldnt get mine out. Tried with a screwdriver, mallet, hammer, it just broke in the end. Needed to buy a new hub anyway but still need to source a new sensor for it.

Is the hub off the car?

Yeah, mine smashed to bits, but if its being removed so a new one can go in, it matters not.

Hmm a lot of f**king around before the MOT runs out, only getting the done as MOT man didn't like it split in half!

Hub is on the car but it'll probably come off so I can fit the ball joints!
