Front Discs???

Had new fornt discs and pads 18k ago. Just replaced the pads which werent bad to be honest, but was wondering.... How many miles will I get out of the discs? Theyve got a lip on them but dont look too bad at the minute...

ive had mine on the 182 for 48k...

2 new sets of pads tho...

Depends on your braking habbits , how hard ya brake , speeds etc ..... you could get anywhere between 30k to mid 40's .I wouldn't worry abou the lip , they all get em , its just where the pad doesn't come into contact with the disc .

Good stuff. I reckoned that if the pads still had meat on them, the discs should be fine.

Only changed the pads as a little upgrade...

you should get the front discs measured 21.4mm is the min IIRC

is that for the whole disk...

ie... the two parts with the wee gap in the middle or a single side of the disk

surely when your disks are low, the brake warning light will come on same as when your pads are low...

you need a micrometer, or vernier to measure the disc thickness
