Front fog lights randomly coming on - 2009 clio gt 1.6.

Over the last few weeks the front fog lights have randomly came on. The dipped lights were already on when this has happened and the message display changes from one message to another i. e mpg to average speed etc.
Any ideas would be welcome.

are you sure its not just the turn assist lights working? it illuminates one fog light as you turn below a certain speed.

could be a stalk issue if the dash is changing at the same time though.

Sounds like your cars possessed mate, killed anyone recently?

Definately not the turn lights as the fog light indicator illuminates. Sounds like a faulty light stalk issue then i guess.....that said the trip computer etc button is on the wiper stalk so what could be causing that to change at the same time?
