Front renualt badge removal

Hi guys im new to these fourms, got myslef a 172 2003. bit tacky.

I want to remove the front renualt badge to spray piant

any 1 got a link or could tell me how to do it.

Pull. That's all I did with mine and it came off in one piece.

Other people may have better suggestions though.

As above. It will put up a fight, but pulling it is the only way to remove just the badge. You can unscrew the backing plate from behind the bumper but that would be pointless as you'd still have to pull off the actual diamond.

Edit: yeh same as above, I take out the background where its sat and it gives a better angle

Monaco Blue. The colour code should be on a plaque on the inside of your door or in your owner's manual.

There's also a sticky thread at the top of this section with paint code information.
