Front seats air bag cable issue

  Clio 1.5 DCI 03
Hi all, hope everyone is doing alright.
I have found it to be a common issue with Clios with air bag fitted seats, but sometimes when i move the seats to get to the back seats it pulls the wires and the air bag light comes on. I normally just put my hand under the seat and find the cables and shove them back into the connector.
Just wondered how is the best way to permanently fix it, as in would it be best to change the whole connector or just solder it up an slap a load of electrical tape all over it

Many thanks, hawk

i replaced mine with a meaty plug... never had a problem since, soldering them is great and all bt itll be more of a headache if u want to take out the seats

I've done both.
I agree with da rock, i would solder next time unless you intend to take your seats out.
Heat shrink sleeve looks a bit more professional than tape!
Ian.
