Frozen iPhone 3G

Just gone to use my iPhone and its frozen on the Start up screen with the Black Background and Apple,

I've tried calling it but it goes straight answerphone, Tried putting it on charge to see if that would bump it throught but nothing,

Anyone know what I can do to sort it?

hold down the home button while holding down the top left lil button... this should reset it..

hold the two buttons down together for a few seconds and should reset it...

EDIT: lol great minds....however I've now wasted one of my 5 a day pikey forum member posts lol
