FTP Help!

Hi Guys,

Client has given me his FTP details and they haven't been working. He's gone back to the hosts and sent me the details... so they should be right.

I go to log in and it says

"Connected to (IP Address) Port 21"

It holds that message for 10 seconds then the connection fails...

Any ideas?

Their end. Or your typing something wrong.

Yep their end of you've got the wrong server address.

nmap that IP and see if the ports are open.

Deffo sounds like an issue at their end though.
