Fuel Filter D4f Engine

Does anyone know where the fuel filter is on a D4F engine?

I have looked beneathe the car and it doesnt seem to be where the book says it is.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Some dont have any external ones...

Renault were adiment that my specific car had 1 by the fuel tank.


Not on mine hehehe, its built into the fuel sender unit (under back seat)

Doesnt need to be changed till about 120k
As you have to change the whole unit and its costly

under the passenger seats cap off then knock the sender top off and the sender is under there in the tank , the filter is replaceable but its a nasty job

I was told it wasnt...

as they dont sell replacement filters for them anyway?

Its the 1.2 16v.
