This may be a stupid question but where can i find the fuel filter on a ph2 172 51plate?

Just in front of the fuel tank underneath the car, will look like a small silver can with a wire and two pipes at each end.

OK, thanks for the help mate I'll look tomorrow. i couldn't see it there but hen it was dark and was using a torch lmao.

i'm afraid you're wrong, its inside the tank on the mk2 phs2, doesn't need touching until 150K miles

Thats why i've had a look and cannot find it anywhere.

On a PH1 its definately outside the tank as I spotted mine under there ysterday!

I thought it needed changing at 100k.
