fuel for 172/182

does anybody run there 172/182s on normal unleaded and do they run ok? with the current prices of optimax and super i just cant afford to run the car any more

Yup, me too at the minute, runs fine.

I always fill it with super and have never filled it with normal unleaded.

My petrol bill is not that much, about £20 per week, so it has never been an issue.

I assume you lose a few bhp but the engine management compensates so no running problems.

You wont loose any power.

Some people have said that running on 95 has caused it to be a little less table at low RPM. I wouldnt bother personally.
