Fuel gauge going mental!

I filled my 1.2 (2002) up with some optimax yesterday and today have noticed that my trip computer says i have a 485 mile range but normally its 405 miles when full. My normal gauges needle is sitting above full!

Has anyboys suffered the same?

Yep!!

managed to get 52liters in yesterday car is dog slow (heavy) cos i ran it a bit dry (it stopped in the petrol station)

trip computer says

600 mile range!! eh?

Yeah normally when it makes the click noise when its full, i still go on a bit but this time i stopped straight away so it doesnt make a whole lot of sense. According to my range i would of had to overfuelled by almost 25%!

yep i have had the same, more worrying is the fact that with a 1/4 of a tank it said i had 240 miles left - it did reset itself after a wihle though
