fuel reset switch

hi been told of a fuel reset switch or something along these lines please could anyone help me find where it is?

if its a mk1 172 yes near battery some where

mk2s never had them

presume this is it

could you help then?? car wont start it will turn over but no fire?

ive replaced crank sensor as i thought it was that!

any other things you could think of?
