Full carbon fibre clio ?

do it mate, will look awsome. definetly get the door cards as they do look the nuts. the bits from streamline are of fantastic quiality. cup spoiler abit pricey though. why not get the RS front bumper and get the carbon splitter?
 
and tbh its no different al these people going euro with their clios spending thousands on bodywork with no intention of it ever being anything other than a 1.2 either . just euro is tried and tested so no one will call that a bad idea .

yes could get an rs bumper , looking at really getting the car how i want it now with a small loan etc from my bank . and btw i will meet you friday if thats alright with the rest of the £ ;)

from personal experience, dont get a loan from your bank to do suff to your car as its just not worth it.

regarding friday, yes thats fine. but you'll have to come down to swansea as i dont know if ill have another car by then. :S an it'll have to be in the morning as im in work at 1pm
 
spend it by all means as every part can be transfered over to an RS model when you get one or can be sold on at a good price to

in my opinion its very different to what the euro guys do. euro is all about the look, but carbon fibre (to me) is all about weight saving. not looks. its about performance and power to weight ratios.

thats just my opinion anyway... doesn't mean its right

exactly what i was going to say . it can be used for weight saving etc . but its also used for the look ! racer look :) why do people buy caron splitters then ? its because it looks the dogs b****cks . not to save weight . so its 50/50 really.

yep, its 50/50. the splitter thing is pure looks.
by all means, go for it. as said, its all interchangable for the ph2 rs models if you were to upgrade to one. will be a pretty nuts thing to do, it will definatly stand out!
 
one thing i thougth might look good, instead of colour coding the bumper plastic you could put some carbon film over it?

hmm not sure , never seen that done , and i wouldnt want it to peel etc or anything . all the carbon parts iv chose so far are of what i beleive to be decent quality etc . would have to look into that .

was hoping for it to stand out and be unique but not stand out for the wrong reasons hence why i wanted a few opinions on how it would look . :)
 
I really think it's a waste of money but it's your car and your money, so do what you like!

I'd put it towards an RS myself..
 
I've never seen the point of carbon on a black car. You can hardly tell its there unless your up close...

Silver or yellow yes...

Some people forget that carbon fibre is a weight saving component and really strong to hold rigidity, i would bother unless it was a 172/182

basically a lower the var even more , carbon fibre bonnet , and carbon fibre eing mirror covers . its too hard to do things like a cd spoiler erc .
 
At least the parts you are getting will be transferable to an RS in future. IMO wouldnt bother though.
 
Leave car as it is, you will never get your money back. Unless you doing alot of shows in it then thats different, i wouldnt bother personally but everyones different. I want a carbon bonnet on my car as its black i think it will look good and my bonnet is knackered, not sure on any other colour car though.

LOL at the third one :) cheers for more pics , giving me and idea of what it would look like . whats with the carbon roof ? never seen one on a clio . is it possible ? lol also new question .... the tints . Remove them ? or keep them ? cant decide . going to wait a while before deciding mind .
 
We had a £500 Carbon Steering wheel in the Farbio and it looked uber tacky and w**k.

CF can look good but it can also look mega lame. Don't go ott
