ive allways kept my car (mk2 172) full up with optimax

this week i are been mostly runnin on empty

considdering running on half tank from now on,.

The tank holds 50 litres dont it? So on empty you are saving 50kg which is like the weight of an extra passenger - well thats like a 15 year old girl? Will have to check that figure with the Saxo boys...

Come on guys we are talking about car performance and trying to compare a full tank of fuel to something easy to imagine and realistic!

You dont drive around with 50 bags of sugar in your boot do you!!!


People can understand the performance loss when carrying a passenger but your average 20 year old male is around 70kg....
