Fully stripped 0-100 + 100-0 speedo video...

But I don't think the stripping has made the slightest difference LOL

Might be because I was on track tyres that I couldn't get any heat into - the revs flared in 1st and I clipped the limiter.

Disappointed with my 100-0 as well - I make it about 5 seconds dead.

You braked so hard, Your mileage went backwards ;)

Quick! What's the limiter set at? Seems to rev harder than most....

Wouldn't be upset about that Mark (you could be driving a Scenic)

k-tec, decat and panel iirc. Think he has R sport too...

Stripped.

100% correct.

How the hell do you get 40 in 1st!!!
I'm sure mine does that.

Fluffed 1st into 2nd a bit though and the other gear changes seemed a bit slow. Or maybe it just seems faster than it actually is when you're driving lol.

The R-sport ECU gives me almost 8,000 rpm to play with.

1st into 2nd was a mess as I let the revs get away from me in first then clipped the limiter. The rest of the gearchanges are deliberately slow and unhurried.

In my defence it has done over 96,000 miles (still on the original clutch too) so I'm happy to leave the fine art of clutchless or full throttle shifts for the 1/4 mile fanboys.

Brembo HC discs, Carbon Lorraine pads (which were cold).

Trouble with the pads is that unless they're hot already, you get a massive increase in brake effect 1-2 seconds after starting to brake once they heat up, so on my private airfield, it's tricky to get full on retardation going on straight away.

Giving it full pressure from the start means a locked wheel once they heat up.

Well I wasn't expecting the clutchless or full throttle, just seemed slow, but thinking about it, it's probably the same speed I do it, it's just that it probably seems faster in the heat of the moment than it does when you're watching it!
