erm....thats a 6R4!!! (i think thats what they are called) they got banned in there rally class because they dominated!! they are supposedly fast as f**k!! not sure what engine but some one was comparing it to a clio V6

V V FAST! 4WD, the engine is mid mounted, and its the same one they used in the Jaguar XJ220!

We are not worthy.......It is indeed a 6R4. They cost 100 grand when released, have the option of a 2.6 or 2.8 Twin turbod v6. When you bought one it came with a box of cogs for the gearbox. They we obviously 4 whhel drive and with the correct gearing could do 0-60 in 1.6 seconds if you sacrificed a top speed of just 109mph.

The addon bits were there to keep it on the ground !!!.

A clio V6 or anything is not worthy of comparison.

this may be really anoraky, but the car next to the metro is a lancia.

there is a guy that lives like a couple of miles away from me and he has a load of ground and had has 1 of these metros and he has mini rallies in his grounds has a track set up and i have seen him on the road a few times he has a white 1 and the front spoiler etc is blue and it is amazingly fast have been driving along and u just hear a ZOOOOOM as he goes past.

A friend of my Dads has just bought a New 6R4 - You can still buy them for rallying, but they have to have the 3.0 V6 Engines in, still do 0-60 in 2.9 seconds, is an absolute beast of a car - ive never ever been in anything that can put you back in your seat like this thing does - thank god for bucket seats and harnesses!

They sound absolutely unreal too - one of my all time favourite cars i have to admit!

s4, thats the one i was thinking of. there all pretty cool actually, id forgotten about all the different lancia coupe rally cars. nice cars, the stratos had the engine from a ferrari dino.

Those pics of the Lancias reminds me that I saw a Nova painted up with the Martini stripes yesterday, just outside Worthing. I almost crashed laughing!
