fuse keeps blowing

clio mk1 ph1, fitted a sub and amp today wired everything correctley but the fuse for the dash lights and left hand brake light keeps blowing, im stumped any sujestions

Does it still keep blowing the fuse when the sub or radio are not wired up.

its for my mate, but no i dont think it does blow when they arn't wired up, someone told me it could be a ground loop or something:S

where did you take the power feed from? and where is the amp earthed to?

hey its my car what it is happening to and it still blows wen the subs arent connected

have you put a new headunit in? if you have have you used a new earth of it? i did this yesterday to my 200sx thinking it was a stray earth wire but i just kept blowing fuses ended up earthing it to the cars shell behind the head unit lol
